Most study time consists of blocks of 45 min. long for Instructor’s Demo and Students’ work. Each block is broken to steps so students can follow instructor’s work. There are 10 min breaks between blocks for questions and coffee, restroom use.

Morning ( 9:30 am – 12:30 pm ) 

09:30 - 09:50 Introduction. Agenda. Check tools and supplies.

09:55 - 10:40 Drawing and Composition.

10:50 - 11:35 Start working on canvas.

11:45 - 12:30 Underpainting and value evaluation.

Lunch (12:30 – 1:30 )

Afternoon (1:30 – 4:30pm)

1:30 - 2:15 Order of color application. Start.

2:25 - 3:10 Block-in finalization

3:15 - 4:00 Details and objects texture.

4:00 - 4:30 Final touches. How to decide if painting is finished?

Complimentary class (4:30 - 5:30) for student taking both Workshop 1 and Workshop 2 (4 days Wed-Sat).
